Meet Christina, proud Texan and owner of the food blog “Dessert For Two.”
Christina is here to make your life sweeter. Her recipes always make enough for just two people, because how often are you having large get-togethers anyway? Before she started her blog, Christina was frustrated by the amount of dessert recipes that made enough food for 8 to 10 people. She looked all over the internet for recipes that wouldn’t leave her with 2 dozen leftover cookies, but to no avail. She was left feeling guilty for not being able to finish what she made.
So, Christina decided to pick up her wooden spoon and half a stick of butter, and set out to recreate her favorite desserts in smaller pans. On “Dessert For Two,” you can find a wide variety of recipes, from Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake and Sweet Tea Granita to Coconut Sugar Cookies and Maple Syrup Sweetened Cupcakes. Her S’mores Milkshake recipe is otherworldly. You could say it will leave you wanting s’more.

In addition to desserts, Christina also has recipes for dinners for two. She loves to take requests, so feel free to get in touch with her! You can find her contact information on her website.
So far, she has written two cookbooks. Her first book, Dessert for Two, landed on the best-seller list and received lots of press, for which she is very grateful. The book features over 100 recipes for desserts for two.
Her second book, Comfort & Joy: Cooking for Two, consists mostly of savory recipes for two. It contains a mini dessert section at the end, but focuses mostly on meals. You can find breakfast, lunch, dinner, and comfort foods in small portions. Christina is currently working on even more books about cooking for two, so stay tuned!
Christina is happy to be a part of the foodie community. She started the blog over 6 years ago to document her scaling down her mom’s recipes, and now, she is helping so many people learn how to cook and bake. She has appeared on TODAY show and QVC a few times, as the “cooking for two” movement is really becoming popular these days. She is so grateful that her recipes have made their way into kitchens all around the world. And there’s so much more to come.
You can find Christina on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.
